Overview

Enter into a world of magic, lust, love and betrayal.

Evan Bartholomew lives life as a gay pagan with a deep interest in magic. Not wise choices in the small town he resides in. When he comes across a book of magic in an old bookstore, he fantasizes about the portrait of a man within its pages.

The first time Evan attempts one of the spells in the book, he finds himself in a world he never knew existed, completely clueless. A world of demons, magic, a queen who wants to kill him, a king who lusts after him, and the man of his fantasies, Aidan Loriel.

Warning: This title contains the following: explicit sex, graphic language, violence, hot gay men, a few elves, a demon, and a determined king. Oh, and magic thrown in for good measure.

Meet the Author

Call me Katherine or Mychael -- I’ll answer to both. I’m a mother, student, author by trade, and editor by compulsion. I’ve been in the publishing business for several years, namely as a writer but also as an editor on occasion. It never fails, though. I always end up editing eventually.

I’m a proud bibliophile, to which my poor sagging bookcases can attest. I read all the time, namely fantasy and romance.

When not writing or reading or editing, I… eat. Maybe sleep. Or watch Spongebob. Yes. I am a self-proclaimed, thirty-something year old Spongebob Squarepants addict.

They ruined a perfectly good cover with dreadful writing.

This reads like really bad fanfiction--except it's not based on anything. So maybe it reads more like really bad fiction. Couldn't suspend disbelief long enough to make it more than a a third of the way through the book. As soon as the protagonist gets transported to another world it becomes a cheesy supernatural romance novel, but with less believability. Wish I hadn't wasted my money.
