It's the 25th century, and the human race has begun to establish colonies outside the solar system. The first colony planet, Destiny, is inhabited by a remarkably human-like race with extraordinary paranormal powers (Book 1). The North American Federation, sponsors of the colonization, must deal with a Chinese-sponsored attempt to extort a portion of the colony.
