This was one of the very 1st mangas that I ever read! And I must say I'm glad I started of with this one. Perfect for beginners who haven't exactly adjusted to the manga style and also perfect for any body looking for a story with action a touch of comedy mystery magic and friendship. Great story. I read all of the 1st and 2nd series and I enjoyed every second of it! [I'm not exagerating]*_^

Amazing art (Clamp of course), it is funny and you'll love the characters! If you've seen the anime, you'll LOVE the manga ^_^

Magic Knight Rayearth is a good way to start off a manga collection. The art is beautiful and the story is entertaining. Though somewhat childish and cute-sey in the first few volumes, a major plot twist in volume three is worth it. (don't worry, no spoilers here ^^)

Magic Knight Rayearth #1 is action packed, magical, and creative, as well as a all-around good anime!! PLEASE read this book and all following sequels!!! Also, you may want to see The Art of Magic Knight Rayearth. I own both volumes 1&2, and they contain BEAUTIFUL full-colored art from MKR. I highly recommend The Art or MKR vol. 1&2!

The first magna graphic novel I've really read, and it's great!!! I can really connect with the characters, expecially Fuu. The 100% Magna format sometimes drives me crazy, but the art and story line are superb.

This story really describes what fantasy means. Three girls, three elements, a magic guru, a land that needs to be saved, who could ask for more? An outstanding graphic novel. ~sailorsara
