This is not a passive self-help, better your life, get rich, and/or gain friends book. This is a book for those who are serious about changing their lives for the better. Using the techniques discussed here, one can and will reach their goals, no matter what they may be. I know, it definitely works for me.
This is an informative book for anyone who wants to be successful. It is a little wordy and complicated at times. Very much worth the time to read it slowly or reread.
I feel really stupid for buying this book and I did buy it online from bn.com. I've been on this kick of positive thinking books but what Mr. Bristol wrote in this book was misleading. Even though the book claims to use the "law of suggestion," the book also manages to claim in its book that thoughts attract people and situations.
Its basically saying the same stuff that the dvd "The Secret" was saying about the law of attraction. Bristol just puts it in a different way. Although on page 63 of this edition he does mention the law of attraction. The truth of the matter, we don't need "magical beliefs" to become the people that we want to become and to get where we want to get.
All you need is confidence, through confidence you find the way to get what you want and to become the person that you want.
Men often become what they believe themselves to be. If I believe I cannot do something, it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe I can, then I acquire the ability to do it even if I didn¿t have it in the beginning.
