I'm a huge fan of what I would call English Village Women's Fiction/Romance. (Sorry! I can't think of a shorter description.) And since this one has a bit of a Christmas theme -- which I also like -- it was like getting a present all wrapped up with a pretty bow!
I should probably mention that I've read every Trisha Ashley book I can get my hands on at least three times, so I'm not what you might call an unbiased source. She's one of my favorite authors.
Her books are like a little slice of British village life, full of eccentric characters and gentle humor, a real escape from day-to-day life.
Try curling up with one of Trisha's books and a hot cup of tea. I think you'll enjoy it.

I liked this book and the quiet humor that surprised me into laughing outloud. The rural dialect was easy to follow and google helped too when an unfamiliar phrase or word would give me pause. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
