If you liked The Secret and The Power, you will like this book. I was excited to read it, excited to do the "Magic Practices" after every chapter, but three days into it, I quit doing them because who has the time? I have a busy life! I kept reading the book though and about halfway through, it hit me. I have been looking for the "magic pill" to fix things in my life. This book made me realize that I needed to slow down and make the time to acknowledge what is right in my world and to appreciate everything, everyday. I started it over and am USING this book as opposed to merely reading this book. Don't buy this book if you think just reading it will change anything. It's like buying a gym membership and then expecting to lose weight. You need to put in the effort. I can't guarantee you'll change your life, but I can guarantee you will be happier and more at peace with a lot of things.

You read one chapter a day for 28 days. Then just do what she tells you to do that day. It is so simple and doesn't take much time. I am so grateful for her putting this program together. I am on day 25 and the Magic is already happening. Life is wonderful, just take the time to recognize it!

Recently I purchased the Magic, and after reading both The Secret and The Magic, both books have quite a lot of similarity, but if you're looking for help in coping with life, they are both quite helpful. You actually have to work at training yourself to think positive thoughts. It's SO easy to fall back into the negative thinking personna. I know. I was completely stressed last night when I went to bed, worrying myself sick over some negative health news from a close family member. I was praying for her over and over, and I just felt so frantic and helpless. Then I awakened around 3:15 am and started worrying all over again. This time I picked up my Nook and started reading the Magic. Instead of begging God for help, I started THANKING him for all of the help he already gives me and THANKING him for keeping this close relative safe and healthy. When I did that, I felt more at peace. These books do not preach religion. They just teach common sense about how to react in negative situations. Very good lessons.

I love Rhonda Byrne! I really like this latest book because she gives you one thing to focus on everyday. Who can't do that? This book helps you to be more appreciative of what you have. When I catch myself having negative thoughts, I know to stop right away and think of a positive. I think this book can help anyone have a happier life-you just have to be open-minded.

This book is outstanding! It is great because it has you take actions, besides reading. If you can read the material, and do the actions that go along with it, this book will improve your life. I am grateful to Rhonda Byrne for this book.

Phil 4:11, I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. Initially I was concerned I had bought a "new age" type book, but the more I read, the more I realize it follows scriptures in reminding us to count our blessings and be content with whatever our Father provides. Thank you for a slightly different perspective on counting out blessings!

I watched the video of "The Secret' - Bought the Audio of "The Power" and now read the Nook Book of "The Magic".
Rhonda Byrne is a genius - and she has built an effective franchise of materials which are amazing. I cannot believe how she has opened my eyes and consciousness to really appreciate and demonstrate true feelings of gratitude for what I have had my life.
I think, as we get older, we can turn more negative as "things don't work out as expected." When we don't get what we want, our disappointment turns into cynicism and we think that we are jinxed, stuck in a certain position, or even start heading backwards. As we get older, this mindset becomes more insidious as we start thinking about how the years behind us have not produced all that we wanted...and even worse, we start thinking about running out of energy and time to achieve what we want.
"The Magic" shows us that we can reverse these trends in hours and days....not years and decades. She shows us that it's never to late to apply gratitude and appreciation for what we have and want, thereby bringing those things closer.
I have a number of personal turn-around stories related to her works, but one recently stands out. Due to a near death cancer illness, I had to sell my home and move my family into an apartment. I was debilitated for nearly 2 years - but then was declared in remission and got back on track. In the process I had to sell 1 of our cars so my wife and I had only 1 vehicle - which was inconvenient at least. In using "The Power" and "The Magic", I focused on the many great things that happened in my life - family, friends, money I've earned...and my health (yes - I even gave gratitude for what I went through and how I came out ok when others with similar cancers are no longer with us).
I focused on a new car since we really needed it, and unbelievably (true story, I swear!) I joined as a partner in a Venture Capital company, and the company gave me a brand new high end, luxury car. This was not typical of the firm, but I simply mentioned I could use a car – and they provided it.
Rhonda, with "The Magic", gives us easy to use processes to reverse this trend. It will be the best expenditure of your literary money in recent years. I would also recommend “The Power” and “The Secret” as they are ultimately helpful. I hope Rhonda continues to work ‘her magic’

This is a great book very inspiring. Basic philosophical lessons: find something to have gratitude about every day, people that have gratitude naturally will have more abundance, and naturally will attract more abundance, fantastic! still in the process of reading this book but well worth the time!

A lot of verbiage to capitalize on "The Secret." It could have been covered in a chapter.
Why an entire book on the power of "Thank you" in every and any of life
s circumstances.

This is a book to be practiced, not just read. The Secret was great but The Magic engages you. Do the work and, I assure you, that after 28 days of "learning" gratitude, you will look forward to each day of experiencing and expressing more. This book is the perfect reminder that The Magic is right there, in front of us, every day. I assure you, if you are serious about positive outcome, you will very much enjoy this one!
