The book I chose to write a book review for is The Magic School Bus at the Waterworks. The author of this book is Joanna Cole. The illustrator of this book is Bruce Degen. I chose this book because I liked the water works and it has facts. In this science book, Ms. Frizzle's class went on a field trip. In the beginning Ms. Frizzle's class went on a field trip to the water works. In the middle, they got evaporated and went up into a cloud. In the end Ms. Frizzle's class came out of a faucet. The big idea in this story is all teachers are the same. A great quote from the author is "It was getting colder too. All around us, drops of water began to form. And as the drops got bigger we got smaller." The best part is when Ms. Frizzle's class rose up into the air. I would recommend this awesome book to a science person like me! Ages 7-10.
SO COOL. NOT A RIPOFF. BUY THIS BOOK!!
