    Great story, but. . .

Overall this is an amazing book. Wonderful take on elvish legend and how it relates to human history, very creative. The visualization used in many instances is also wonderful.

I, however, took issue with the numerous grammar, tense, and usage mistakes. Isn't that why you have an editor? to make certain that there is a minimal number of mistakes? The writing, from an English language perspective is just horrendous. There is an excessive quantity of simple but highly irritating mistakes that fall in the line of,'She knew that they is going to need. . . ' These mistakes along with excessive changes in tense make for what would amount to an F in an English class. They make a wonderful story frustrating and hard to read due to the fact that oftentimes one must stop and think, "Ok, does she mean 'they are'? Is this supposed to have happened in the past or is it currently happening?"

Overall I LOVED the story line, however, I think Ms Taber is in desperate need of a new editor.

    A good read but...

This book has soooo many typographical errors, like missing words, mispellings, missing or misplaced commas and quote marks, run-together sentences (although there were proper quote marks to show someone else is 'speaking'), and misused words. Some of the problems can be the transliterating (converting one word processor/text type into another) but not all! Authors and publishing companies need to understand this from the readers point of view ... it is *difficult* to keep interest, for any length of time (or, in some cases/people, even at all), in a book with a lot of errors in it! If it's just the conversion causing problems, even though a book was proof read before conversion, another proof read is called for to be certain the conversion did not cause a bunch of errors (in text especially) to show up!

    GOOD BOOK

I wasnt going to read this. I had lost hope in the reviews. They all say its a good book but when i read it the book is bad. I did end up reading this book and to my surprise it was a really good book. There were a few editorial mistakes but i couldnt put this 1233 page book down. If you like paranormal romance books i recommend giving this book a shot.

    Bookworm

This book was really good . It was really nice to read this book of adventure. There were a few problems though. The author repeated a few words alot. Like the same word would appear twice in a sentence. Then there was the fact that the dialouge of two diffrent people would clash togther at times . I sometimes had to take a moment to figure out that there were two diffrent characters talking. The quotation marks would appear at the wrong times like in the middle of a sentence or a paragraph. Other than that the book was 1233 pages of pure awsomeness!

    Good story

This book is good. Only issues are that there are grammatical errors, repeated words and a few dialogues are not seperated so it can confuse you on what character is saying what. Otherwise it is a good read.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I love the spin that was put on the tale of King Arther. I look forward to reading more by this author. I only paid a dollar for it and it well exceeded my expectations. I hope a second book is in the making to continue this story.

    Great book!

This is an enchanting story filled with every mythical creature you could imagine. I love that it had so much of camelot woven in the story but with a unique twist. I would have given it 5 stars but there were a few editing mistakes though not enough to detract from the story. It captured my imagination and i couldn't put it down. I will be recommending this book to all my friends...and its just over 1200 pages, i plan to buy this book if i can find it in paperback.

Im sorry but this is definently in my top 5 worst books ever. I mean the author had some good ideas but it was all verrrry rushed and underdeveloped. 1 star for effort

    Run-on sentences

The author apparently has trouble putting in periods. But besides that, excellent read.

    Alert the grammar police!!

As I read this book I became convinced that it had been written by a teenager. Imagine my surprise to realize the author is in her 20's & married!

There are some books you continue to read despite poor grammar, misuse of homonyms, & stilted conversations because the story line is interesting. This is one of those books. Unfortunately, the further I got into it the more predictable it became but, by that point, I was too far into it to quit.

I think the author has potential. She has some great ideas but would benefit immensely by taking some English lit & writing courses. There she can get constructive criticism & pointers to improve her writing style.

I just started it but it obviously needs a copy editor. Grammar and punctuation are iritating. Story is just okay.
