    Magnificent Adventure!

    Adina’s resourceful, gutsy and vulnerable heroine, Lady Claire Trevelyan, is back in this third and more exciting adventure. Rife with airborne gondolas, pirates, flash floods, pinnacle rocks and a number of villains in the American Wild West, her deft handling of the “Age of Steam” is glorious — and not too overblown as other books imagined by authors writing in the “steampunk” genre. Adina’s main characters are fleshed out with emotion and great motivations, along with the minor characters – the Mopsies, Jake and Tigg, even Rosie the chicken! For those who enjoy “series adventures” with a touch of romance, read Adina’s books from the beginning so as not to miss out on the fun!

    An Adventure from Beginning to End!

    An adventure from beginning to end, the third book of the Devices series by Shelley Adina is exactly as the title states: magnificent! Traveling to the Americas via air ship to track down her scientific design, Claire and her misfit gang encounter pirates, automatons, trains and the wild wild west. Their journey in this installment is even more exciting and fun, as they continue to defy all societal expectations of women and prove that they are not the weaker sex. As they travel through a world straight out of a western, Claire is faced with even more tough decisions involving her heart. I cannot wait for Claire’s story to continue in what has become one of my favorite steampunk series.

    Intriguing heroine finds adventure!!!

    I am an old man in his late seventies who accidently found this book and enjoyed it greatly!!! The heroine should be a model for all young ladies.
