Chamber Three of the Epic Sci Fi Western...

At the end of Guns of Seneca 6, Jem Clayton had hung up his outlaw ways and was ready to settle into a new life in his old hometown. He'd even hired on as the Sheriff, taking up his father's old office at the town's entrance, right near the security fence designed to keep out intruders.
It isn't so easy for people to give up their old lives though, and sometimes, their old lives come looking for them.
Filled with all of the action and adventure of the previous installments, Magnificent Guns picks up the pace and broadens readers understanding of the Old West on a distant planet. While Jem is hunting a new bandit calling himself Gentlemen Jim, the Beothuk natives are scrambling to defend themselves from a new threat. One that comes from within.

Meet the Author

Bernard Schaffer is the author of multiple titles in a wide-variety of genres including: Superbia, a hard-hitting police procedural series about subversive cops trying to do right in a dirty world; Guns of Seneca 6, a six-part saga of the Old West in outer space; Grendel Unit, military science fiction about a team of operatives taking out terrorist threats to the galaxy.

His other work includes The Girl From Tenerife, a moving and honest account of falling in love with the wrong woman; Whitechapel: The Final Stand of Sherlock Holmes, a factual (and graphic) portrayal of Jack the Ripper's murders combined with the characters from Baker Street; and Tiny Dragons, a new children's fantasy series written specifically for his young daughter.

In addition to writing, Schaffer is the father of two children and a lifelong resident of the Philadelphia region. He spent his youth as a child actor and is now a decorated police veteran and expert witness in narcotics distribution.
