I loved this book and I now am reading all of the books by Lloyd C. Douglas who is now my favorite author. He weaves inspiring and novel points of view into fictional stories that are hard to put down.

I read this book because Lloyd C. Douglas' The Robe is in my top five books of all time, and I wanted to read his earlier work. This was a very thought-provoking and interesting book, and much different from the old b/w movie. It is a perfect book for discussion. I wish there could be a resurgence of interest in the classics! I recommend it. I also recommend The Robe!! You have to read it!!!

This book should be read by every small business owner or aspiring entrepreneur. Although it is a great novel, it carries a powerful lesson in what makes people 'tick' and teaches some important lessons through a terrific storyline. A powerful novel that has been too long overlooked by the powers-that-be of the publishing industry.
