I loved The Maintenance Man I but Michael Baisden has really out

I loved The Maintenance Man I but Michael Baisden has really outdone himself with part II! Malcolm has evolved into a sexy sophisticated man. The book reads like a movie and visions of Idris Elba as Malcolm kept coming to mind with Kevin Hart as his side kick Simon. It was exciting after so many years to see what happened with Malcolm and Toni and some of the characters from part one, but I won't spoil it I'll just say this book is HOT! If you loved part I as a book or a play you will love part II as a movie! Both men and women will love this book! if you have not read part one - read it too!

Could NOT put it down!! HOT Read!!

Can't believe I'm the first to write a review!!! The story line sucked me in from the first few pages! I always wondered what Malcolm would have been up to after the fact and it's definitely much more of a sexy story than I would have imagined. I love how he portrayed Toni and brought everything back to life since MM I. I highly recommend this as a read - but make sure you have a couple hours because it's one you will NOT want to put down!!!

    complete waist of time

I'm a fan of MB, but this was a complete waist of time. It wasn't half as good as the first book. Maybe MB was too busy with his many other projects to produce a good part 2. The combination of gigolos taking over the world, politics and navy seal crap was extremely unrealistic and juvenile. As if it was a young boys sketchy underdeveloped w_ t dream. Maybe it's time for MB to put down the pen. Obviously he cannot put a 100% into his novels. I commend him on his other projects but it's has taken away from what I originally came to like about him, which was his books. I recommend " god's gift to women ".

    Poorly written....

Very corny story line and poorly written but considering that it was written by Michael Baisden I'm not surprised. Don't waste your time or your money! Save yourself the disappointment!

Not as good as the first book

It was not as good as the first novel. If you are into a navy seal/prostitute fighting crooked mob guys and selling himself for thousands of dollars to rich women, then this is your book. I recommend picking up The Family Business by Carl Weber.

    Loved it!!!!!

This was the first book in two years that I have had a chance to read for pleasure that was not a textbook required reading for school. I finished it in less than two days. It was wonderful. Working on my degree I rarely have time to just read, but this book was a welcome break from my routine. A must read.

    MMII

Mike has done it again. MMII was great, it was a page turner from begnning to end. Such great details that I was able to invision the scenes and really feel as if I was watching a movie. Truly a great book and a page turner, I couldn't even put the book down until it was completed!

    Not impressed

After reading the first book, I was anticipating every page of this book to be exciting. I was left bored after only the first chapter. It took me over 2 months to read this book & really forced myself on that. Sorry that I wasted my money in such a bad economy.

    THE SAGA CONTINUES..........

I WAS VERY EXCITED TO READ BOOK TWO OF THE MAINTENANCE SERIES. I WAS ABLE TO READ THE BOOK IN TWO NIGHTS, AND FOUND IT ENJOYABLE. MALCOLM, SIMON, AND AREILE WAS BACK TOGETHER AGAIN, TO GET THEIR PAPER.

THE STORY HAD A STRONG BEGINNING AND A REALLY GOOD FINISH. BUT IT WAS TRULY MISSING SOME PUNCH IN THE MIDDLE. WHEN MALCOLM GETS INVOLVE WITH ALEX, THE WIFE OF A VERY POWERFUL SENATOR ALL TROUBLE BREAKS LOOSE FOR MALCOLM.
I LIKED THE CHARACTER OF AGENT HARRIS. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A NOVEL WITH AGENT HARRIS AND MALCOLM AS THE MAIN CHARACTERS. THAT SHOULD BE REALLY GOOD.

IF YOU HAVE READ THE FIRST BOOK, THEN BY ALL MEANS FINISH THE SERIES. ENJOY.......
