Maisy's Amazing Big Book of Learning

Maisy's Amazing Big Book of Learning

by Lucy Cousins

Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Eleanor Heldrich
This large and pleasing 40-page book is packed full of "colors, numbers, shapes and letters," but that's not all. It also introduces the days of the week, some touch and feel sensations, tastes and sounds, spots and stripes, sunshine and rain, soft and loud sounds and so much more. A first impression may be that it is too big a book for very young children and has too much information, but how can there be too much information for any child with a whole world of learning ahead? And what is more fun than sitting on the floor with a big book of interesting pictures to explore? Readers will be learning the answer to such questions as: "What kind of weather do you like?" "What do these animals say?" ?What letter does your name begin with?" This is learning, and learning is fun! Three cheers for Maisy and her creator, Lucy Cousins! Reviewer: Eleanor Heldrich
