    Berry's Love

    Berry's Love

    Chapter three
"Quick! We gotta leave! Now!" Tiger said. "Why?" Berry said with a tired yawn. "Riverclan!" He hissed in her ear. "But I thought we were far from their territoty!" She said, clearly confuzed. "Well, long ago I helped an apprentice become a kittypet...and apparently the leader found out and didn't approve of it, so to cut the story short he's been after me ever since then...soI think his warriors found our scent and the leader, Troutstar has sent a patrol of warriors to track us down, I mean, to track me down." Tiger explained quickly. "Lets go then!" Berry said as she stepped out with Tiger behind her. Right there in front of them stood a patrol of aangry looking warriors. They all smelled different...a few smelled like.. fish, and a couple like pines and marshes, then there was two who smelled of oak and mice. The last bunch smelled of windy hills and rabbits. "Ah... it's our old friend... Tiger." A cat who smelled an awful lot like fish, in Berry's opinion, growled. "He's even found himself a girl...poor thing must be confuzed or tricked. And she smells slightly like a kittypet. Stooping a little low, eh, Tiger?" Another fish scented cat growled. Berry was about to open her mouth when Tiger put his tail over her mouth and whispered to her "Don't cause trouble. " Berry snapped her mouth shut and settled for just glaring at the hostile cat who had called her a kittypet, 'I haven't even seen my twolegs for weeks! Call me a kittypet? He should go swim back to his river. He's a fish out of water!' She thought to herself, but didn't dare disobey Tiger's order. "Not too low, though... she's my mate. Not girlfriend." Tiger growled. "Well, I have an idea... we take her with us for say, six moons and have her work for Riverclan in exchange for forgeting everything you ever did." Troutstar suggested. "All the clans will forget?" Tiger asked suspiously. "All of them." Troutstar said. "Now do we have a deal?" A she cat asked impatiently, it was Poppystar the leader of Windclan. "I'm sorry, Berry. I'll count down the moons.... but I have to stop running and this may be the only way... and my only chance.... remember, I love you and always will. It's a deal." Tiger agreed with an unhappy sigh. "But..." Berry stammered. "It's okay, I always knew he was foxhearted. But you'll get to join Riverclan now!" A she cat said in a friendly voice, though Berry hardly heard her over her thoughts and heavy heart as she walked away from Tiger, not even stopping to look back...

End of chapter 3! Hope you enjoyed! Chapter four will be in the next result! Please read and comment! Thanks!~The writer
