I had read other works by Jacob Abbott and was very excited to get the collection in one e-book. As I pursue my degree in ancient and classical history, I felt it a good book to add to my collection. My specific interest was in Hannibal, but I looked forward to reading about the other Makers of History as many fell into the time span of my studies and Abbott provides a simple and direct overview. Although all 26 titles are listed in the Table of Contents, all of the books are not included in the e-book. The missing one was Hannibal. As it turned out, I had to buy that title separately. Fortunately for me, the Makers of History remains a great addition to my digital library, in spite of the one missing title.
