    Pie in the sky!

    More Guru nonscense, real estate investing is just another job. For some of the fortune ones it is a very good job. If the contents of this book were really usable we would all be millionaires. All these folks make millions in the hot market of the past. Most of what these folks teach is the same old same old repakaged as the new secret. Save your self a lot of money, go to your library and read an old book on real estate, notice how the old is new again.

    Another Home Run

    I have been impressed with the incredible amount of value that Conti & Finkel pack into their books...I've read 3 of them. Besides myself, I know for a fact that several members of my local real estate investor's group have used what they teach in this book and it works. You have a tremendous combination here. 1) The authors ARE VERY experienced in what they teach/write about, 2) They personally WANT and CARE that the reader/student succeeds 3) They deliver the knowledge in an easy to read format. If you are even the least bit skeptical, I suggest you contact them or an associate at their company and see for yourself.

    If real estate is in your future then this is a must read.

    Making Big Money in Real Estate has helped us tremedously in cleaning up the way we look for property and the way we handle it once we find it. The concepts are awesome and David and Peter teach it in a manner in which anyone who really wants to make money in real estate can understand and follow.

    Investing made simple

    When I got started in investing in real estate, this was the first book I picked up and it completely changed my life forever. The ideas in the book were very easy to understand, Peter and David do a marvelous job in taking the complexities of real estate and simplifying it so that even a beginning investor can understand it. Once I read it, I started talking to people who were more seasoned investors than myself and they read it as well and really liked the ideas in it also. Even being advanced, they still got some amazing information from the book. Thanks Peter and David for such an amazing book - I recommend it to anyone that is interested in Real Estate - beginner to advanced.

    Great Way to Learn HOW to invest in Real Estate

    My husband was laid off in 2003, shortly after we had our first baby. The job market was really slow at that time, and he couldn't find a decent job that would support us. We started gathering as many different books and resources on Real Estate Investing that we could find. When it comes down to it, there is A LOT of information out there, and it was too confusing trying to understand it all. We found a couple of books written by Peter Conti and David Finkel, and that finally helped to give us easy to understand information. I felt like we finally found the 'cliff notes' version of Real Estate investing I was looking for. Something that was easy to read, and made sense. We started with their first book, 'How to Create Multiple Streams of Income' and then we read 'Making big Money Investing in Real Estate' a couple months later. I recommend reading them in that order. I felt the info in the Making Big Money book was just a little more advanced, and I was glad we started with the other book first and then read the second book. We were also able to attend a couple of their Real Estate Seminars. If you ever get a chance, I would recommend them. I like these guys because they are honest and ethical, and you can tell by listening to them, reading their books, and observing their actions at these seminars.

    Great start to creative real estate investing

    I have looked at dozens of other books in researching creative rei methods, but the writing style of these authors is the most straightforward and the information here seems to be the most complete and practical. Highly recommended.

    Conti and Finkel hit another home run!

    This is a great book with great information! The author gives you enough information to make the program work without having to make any additional purchases. The book was very easy and quick to read. I would definitely recommend this book to experienced investors as well as to those who are new to the world of real estate investing.

    beginner turned investor

    Getting started was easy, this book showed me how. I had no idea how to invest in real estate without committing to a huge mortgage. These techniques showed me how to do it without my own money and its really easy.

    You've got to read both books!!

    You want straight forward, nearly step by step instructions on real estate investing for rehabs and foreclosures, you've got to get BOTH Making Big Money Investing in Real Estate- Without Tenants, Banks, or Rehab Projects and the Making Big Money Investing in Foreclosures Without Cash or Credit books. Peter and David make it so easy to understand, implement and encourage one who has NO IDEA where to begin and how to succeed! Terrific for future investors as well as well current.     Read this before you take another step

    This is your Real Estate Investor starting point

    If you're new to Real Estate investing and need a place to start this is the book for you! 'Making Big Money' is a well organized introduction into the world of creatively financed Real Estate investment strategies. Thoroughly presented are the basics in acquiring revenue generating properties for long term financial growth. This book is far from a 'get rich quick scheme' and should not be approached as such. Applying the techniques outlined in Peter and Davids book and having the confidence and discipline to follow through with the necessary steps, I believe anyone can be successful applying these strategies.

    This book is a great place to start!

    I found this book to be a great, very practical place to start any real estate career. It starts with how to find good deals and moves you through the whole process, all the way to what your exit strategy might be with each property you sign up. I liked how this book took an honest look at the possible worst case scenarios and offered advice on how to avoid those. The sample documents and the section on contract clauses to use for safeguards was especially helpful. I feel this book is packed with info for any beginning real estate investor. An excellent place to get a great overview of buying properties in many different ways.

    An introduction to purchase options

    Making Big Money Investing in Real Estate without Tenants, Banks or Rehab Projects is a good introduction to using purchase options in investing. The book gives practical, step-by-step information in a language that is easy to read. The real life examples are a helpful way to see the concepts in action. This is a great read for someone who is unfamiliar with how purchase options work, but probably lacks the nitty-gritty details a seasoned investor would find most helpful. Still, definitely worth a look at!

    Want to be a real estate investor....READ THIS BOOK FIRST

    I read a couple of real estate books before Making Big Money Investing in Real Estate. They were fine but did not give me the tools to get started. I needed more than information...I needed to understand how to take the information and make it work for me. After reading Making Big Money, I knew that I could be a real estate investor. Making Big Money gave me the tools, language scripts, and confidence to get started. This book was the catalyst to my investing. I am now a real estate investor. It all stared with Making Big Money Investing in Real Estate. Peter and David...thanks for writing this book.....rob

    Read this book if you're interested in Real Estate Investing!!!

    I recently had the good fortune of reading this book regarding investment strategies. It is well-written and contained sound, practical advice. In fact, I have already benefited from this book and am on my way to start my investing. This author pointed out several things that I will remember for years to come. I look forward to reading Peter Conti's and David Finkel's next book!

    Making Big Money Investing in Real Estate: Without Tenants, Banks, or Rehab Projects

    I thought that this book gave some great pointers and helpful suggestions. I'm reading this book for the second time now, and I am really getting a better grasp for it. Even though the book doesn't supply you with the necessay contract etc., it does give you the know how of investing in real estate. If you are a serious investor you will take the time to use the information from this book to benefit you. For the price of this book what would you expect, all the secrets of real estate investing. I think that the authors gave enough information to get anyone started in the real estate business. How far you go and how dedicated you are, will determine your success. I hire a real estate lawyer to draft my contracts. It's about dedication and your drive to succeed.........

    Making Big Money Investing in Real Estate: Without Tenants, Banks, or Rehab Projects

    I though that this book really justified it's point,about investing in real estate without tenants, banks, or rehab project. I know that the information that I've recieved in this book will assist me in the future with doing my first deal. I also though that the wording in the book was very easy to read. I have given my partner the book to review. I can tell you that I know alot more about real estate investing today, then I did yesterday. I highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about investing.
