Matt is an expert and the Chase is on. Tate doesn’t stand a chance.
Book Four In the Chase Brothers Series.
Tate Murphy is a girl from the wrong side of the tracks. She grew up a million miles away from the easy life Matt Chase has had. She’s spent her life pulling herself and her siblings up and out of that trailer by the railroad tracks and she hasn’t looked back. Matt Chase is a dream of a guy and she’s certainly not going to turn down a short fling with one of the most handsome men she’s ever seen!
Matt Chase has watched each one of his brothers find love and he knows he’s ready for that too. It’s all a matter of finding the woman who captures his heart. He’s certainly sampled his fair share of them but none has moved him the way Tate Murphy does when he goes to her shop to thank her for some cookies and a thank you note.
But as Matt gets to know Tate and appreciate her strength and unique beauty, he also realizes she’s got some big self esteem issues about her past. To build a future, he’s got to find a way past some big road blocks.
This was a great great read. The writing is beautiful, the story wonderful. I can't wait for the next book to come out.

Tate is a girl who grew up poor, always having to care for her siblings. She meets Matthew who is from a large, close family who worked hard but was not lacking for anything. They are instantly attracted to one another but Tate can't quite believe that Matt would be serious about her.
They have some bumps along the way but work through their family differences to have their relationship grow into something that cannot be denied.
It is a sexy, romantic love story that I enjoyed reading every page of. The characters are very well developed. I enjoyed the entire Chase series. The men of the Chase family are all very caring, sexy, strong men who know how to treat their ladies. Their Mom provides some touching humor into the mix. I would recommend the entire Chase series as being compelling love stories with some explicit sex. Each book stands alone but it's nice to read them in the correct order.

It was such a sweet story, though it had some sadness it ended up with a happy ending.

I passed this book over afew times because of the cover. The cover doesn't do the book justice. This is a real love story. Plus size girl meet hunky guy and doesn't think she's good enough for him. Some very interesting drama takes place.

I enjoyed the story line, however it was very hard to believe they cared and loved each other with the crass language used during sex. What a major turn off!! Also totally buggy, Matt had to be the one to accept how Tate handled her family and him. Everyone kept excusing Tate's behavior and making it ok just because of her past and what she was dealing with. Matt had every right to be hurt. How hurt he felt and how sorry she felt was so glossed over it was hard to believe they actually were. Yes, what happened to Tate is tragic, but not learning to deal with it and that her actions hurt others makes it hard for me to believe that Matt and Tate will live happily ever after.

I just love this entire series. I had never read Lauren Dane until Taking Chance was offered as a Free Friday book. I loved it so much that I purchased the entire series as well as Once and Again. I now have another great author to read and I can't wait for the next installment from Petal, Georgia.

I have loved this series. Read the previous 3 books first. This is a romance novel for real sized people. I love that Tate is a larger women and still beautiful and sexy. The story is fun and ending happily, the sex scenes are hot - all-though not always complete many of them just stop. The interaction between the families is great but some of the dialogue is unrealistic but perfect for a romance novel. All in all I have enjoyed the series they are fun and a good simple predictable read. A Romance through and through.

4th in the Chase Brothers Series, Lauren Dane has outdone herself again. Like the three stories before I couldn't put it down once I started reading.
