    Disappointing

I wanted so badly to love making these clothes-there are so many errors and the patterns are poorly drafted. Don't bother purchasing-just enjoy the pictures in the store with a latte.

    I Also Recommend:

Great book if only patterns were better drafted.

Liked the book for the most part. Illustrations are great. However, several of the patterns are poorly drafted. Some of the armholes were too big and make the clothing look misproportioned.

Author has two patterns that require drawstrings at the neck. This is dangerous as kids get caught on playground slides, etc. I ended up replacing it will elastic on one of the night dresses.

Yes, I would still recommend this book. With a few changes to the patterns, you'll be able to make some cute clothing for your child.

I love the clothes in this book.  However, having previous sewin

I love the clothes in this book.  However, having previous sewing experience has definitely helped.  The instructions are not difficult, but occasionally lack some details.  Also, the instructions have you cut out the pieces at various steps along the way and I like to cut them all out up front.  Simply scanning through helps with this.

A good acrylic ruler is a must, since rectangular pieces (waistbands, pocket pieces) are simply given as the dimensions to cut instead of providing a pattern piece.

Still I love the patterns and their basic nature, which makes it easy to change them up.
