I have bought this book, after having a my first look at a book on American Indian bows and arrows back in 1991 and not being smart enough to buy it. It was 'American Indian Archery.' This book is good, with lot's of illustartion and pictures, but the detail is one that is more conceptually challenging than self-explanitory. It would be better, too, with color photos than black and white. Buy it though, because there aren't that many books out there now in print, on American Indian bows and arrows. This is a must have book for any beginer bowyer or intermediate or better.
