Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Handmade tiles are currently popular as a decorative feature and means of artistic expression. This book for the studio potter who owns an electric kiln covers the basics of tile making and decorating with instructions for installing tiles on various types of indoor and outdoor sites. Studio artist Pozo's illustrated instructions are supplemented with photos of other tile artists' works. This is a good overview of the craft for public library collections. Awesome Book!

I have the two-DVD set by the author and decided to get this book as a companion. It was a wise choice. This is a wonderful book for anyone wanting to make clay tiles. It is easy to read yet with in-depth information about processes. I highly recommend the author and this book.
