Features: It covers basic echo interpretations as well as the more complicated, latest imaging techniques such as speckle tracking, harmonic, and 3D imaging. Each case is accompanied by a clinical scenario, echo images, and management issues. Multiple colorful illustrations with high-yield references make it even more attractive. The book is accompanied by a free web site with 150 video clips and more than 100 downloadable images.
Assessment: This is a great quick reference, easy to carry, printed on high quality paper with colorful tables and illustrations that every echo enthusiast should possess. Compared to another echo handbook, Echo Made Easy, 2nd edition, Luthra (Anshan, 2007), this one has more images with more up-to-date information.
