    A delightful treat!

I am a huge fan of assemblage art and picked this book up recently at the book store. It was a wonderful colorful surprise. It has all different types of assemblage ideas made into the form of altars, shrines, shadow boxes. My favorite is the Joseph Cornell box and the tiki one. Also the crazy London one that has shiny trinkets glued all over a suitcase. How clever! I'm glad there is finally a book that tells the step by step instructions on how to make this kind of art, because at first it seems really intimidating. I highly reccommend this book if you are into making or appreciating assemblage art.

A different kind of craft book

I think its cool that you can make a piece of art out of collections and such. This book really gave me a lot of ideas for making unique things from my odds and ends. It really is a neat book.
