I like this book's intelligent, noncondescending approach. Although the author offers her own diet plan, it is merely a back up for the reader who doesn't already have a specific food plan for dieting. The focus is more on the process of identifying why weight loss is important to the reader (and maybe it isn't, or isn't right now, so that reader should stop hitting herself on the head and move on) and how to keep on track once one starts down the road of weight loss. Ms. Estrich 'made the case' for her own weight loss and consequent improvement in health and enjoyment of life, and in a no-nonsense, thought provoking way, walks the reader through the process for making her own case for weight loss, then making the plan to achieve it.Was this review helpful?
