    Simple and Effective

This is a very simple, yet detailed, book on making different wines (including meads). It is organized from what someone new would find easy. Starts out with a quick history, items needed, explains different wines, and a decent amount of step-by-step recipes. I thought after reading this i would be ready, however, i still had a few questions unanswered to be fully ready. Overall excellent starting book and highly recommend it.

Easy to understand and get started right away

I got this book to find a particular recipe, which wasn't in there, but what is in there is great! Currently have my first batch of mead fermenting right now!

    Pretty good

Overall good book. Awesome recipes. Lacks deeper explanations on some points of wine making. I had to find another book to fill in the blanks.

    A good read

This is a well-written introduction to wine-making. This book covers the equipment needed, the wine-making process and includes several different recipes for several types of wine. I would suggest this book to a person interested in picking up this hobby.
