Overview

From New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Julia Kent:

One playboy CEO. One curvy, determined administrative assistant. One hidden camera.

What could go wrong?

Lydia Charles is determined to show her boss that getting caught reading Fifty Shades of Grey in the parking lot can help the company bottom line. Preparing for the biggest work project of her life, a romance book marketing campaign, she never expected that an actual romance would interfere with the business of romance. Tough and cynical, her last office relationship exploded in her face. No man was worth it.

Until Matt Jones, a boss she didn't know she had - a boss who took the Director of Social Media job she was gunning for - swept her out of a promotion and off her feet. Lydia didn't want to respect him, much less like him - but her body had a mind of its own, turning traitor in chance encounters. After a steamy elevator episode that left her missing her panties - and most of her resolve - she decided that maybe it was time to let him get inside her - in more ways than one.

When he closed off to her unexpectedly, hurt feelings unleash a torrent of tension, with his order to follow his command triggering malicious obedience - following the exact letter of the law - in her. Interest from Matt's eccentric millionaire friend Jeremy left her hot and bothered, with threesome dreams that made her want to obey - but in the bedroom. Not the boardroom.

What Lydia didn't know was that "Matt" was really Michael Bournham, the CEO of the company, part of an undercover reality television stunt. Keeping his hands off Lydia's luscious curves was becoming an exercise in restraint, but what was harder? Keeping his heart from her. For Michael, Lydia's malicious obedience ignited a night of unbridled passion in the office that made him forget everything - including the rolling cameras - until it was too late.

Sometimes the best way to break the rules is to follow them...

This is a good book, but I AM SICK of books being released in installments!!!!!! All publishers and authors are trying to do is find ways to trick readers into spending more money than the material is actually worth.

Incredible! This book satisfied my craving for a good BBW Erotic Romance. Lydia is a cute character with a good heart, and Matt is hot as heck. The references to Fifty Shades were funny, especially in an erotic romance that's just as hot! I will be chomping at the bit for part two. Bravo, Miss Kent.

I wish I would have known it was part one of a trilogy, but after 400pp and no movement in storyline I realized something was up. I would have definitely waited until the other volumes were released. It talks about fifty shades, well author should have been like them and released series in its entirety. I should have known when the only other books from author are broken up part books. I dont know if I will purchase anymore.

I was going to buy it since it was .99, but then I read it was an installment book.  This has become ridiculous......having to buy multiple books to buy the whole story.  I am boycotting all installment books.

THIS BOOK WAS AWESOME!!!! The hero was delicious, the heroine feisty, and the ending done PERFECTLY! You know the "twist" is coming (I mean, he's wearing the camera the whole time) but the author wrapped it up perfectly. Loved this!!!

Hot, sexy contemporary romance with a really sharp heroine and a likeable hero. I loved the idea of a CEO who goes undercover in his own company, and Lydia's love/hate relationship with her new boss was pitch perfect. I love finding new series and can't wait for the next book in the trilogy.

I LOVED this book! I can't wait to read more of this series. I need to find out what happens with Lydia & Matt. Gah! When's the next one coming out? Can't be soon enough for me!

This book was a good read. There was some dragged out parts but overall I enjoyed it.

All I can say is.. when is the next one coming out?? What a cliff hanger! Kent spins some quirky, well developed, relatable characters that you can't help but love. (Jeremy is my favorite!) Coupled with steamy sex scenes, this book is shiver-inducingly sexy and utterly brilliant. I am dying to see what happens next!

Great story but wish they released more than one book.

I absolutely loved this book! It keeps you guessing throughout the whole thing. It's true that it's part 1 of 3. That's what makes it so great. I love the thrill of waiting for the next book to be released. Read these books. You will not be disappointed.

POORLY written. Mentions 50 too much along with TV shows and characters that aren't well known. Horrible dialogue, too wordy. I'm only one fourth into the 500 pg book and cannot read any more its so unrealistic. The character says 50 was poorly written, well comparatively this book reads like a 3rd grader wrote it.

It's a cute story...but enticing enough for a series...it wasn't for me, but it might be for you. There are some funny parts that I laughed with, but it was just to long and drawn out. Would've been better as a stand alone.

It is well written but it's part of a series. On principal I am not buying the rest. Tired of being duped. BTW...stop painting her as a feminist. She is a strong, independant woman who occasionally cries in the closet and wants equality in the work place. I like her. But don't paint her as a feminist because she does other things that do not fall under the true definition.
