Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
Anyone familiar with the holdings of school and public libraries might assume that another photo-filled book about snakes is not a necessary acquisition. Like many others, this book describes the snakes' habitats, how they hunt and reproduce. It is clearly written and will engage most readers. Mambas, however, usually share a book's pages with other snakes; in this book they are the stars. This book is part of the "Snakes" series. 2004, Capstone High-Interest Books/Capstone Press, Ages 7 to 10.
