The Man Who Rode Thunder is an excellent book for someone who is interested aeronautics or the U.S. Marines. The book starts off with William Rankin a enlisted Marine in the south Pacific during WWII. Where he found his love for weight lifting. After the war he signed up for the Naval Air Corps. When the Korean War broke out he served aboard an aircraft carrier as a pilot. He then goes on to be a squadron commander. With a freak accident comes his fame and the title of the book in a thunderstorm. I really enjoyed the book because I have an interest in the military. I strongly recommend this book to anyone associated to the Marine Corps or with any aircraft. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
