Great book for anyone who is managing large repair or remodel projects!
I never realized how easy it is to manage large-scale projects until I read this book. I followed Victoria's instructions on how to find and manage a team of home building and repair professionals and finished my own project without any difficulties. And it came in on budget too. I could have never done this work without the insights of this really smart, practical advice. Highly recommend!!

    EXCEPTIONAL REMODEL

I was impressed with Victoria's book. There is so much detail in every chapter. The pictures were beautiful and I liked the way she put her house together from the bottom up. Pictures from both before and after showed me what a really big job it was. I can't believe she took such a small house on small lot, tastefully doubled it's size, and made such a warm and comfortable home with great atmosphere. For those who are considering a remodel this would be a great book.

    Loved this book!

Just purchased this book and have already read the entire book. Loved the before and after pictures and all the illustrations. Great job. Very informative and comprehesive book. I love the authors way of writing and how she lets us in on a little of her personal life, along with some of the mishaps she ran into - yet overcame. Love that she spends her time on solutions. Appreciated that she provided a contract - that was really helpful for me. She gave me confidence that I could do a remodel. Her checklists, the organizer for the blueprints contract, etc. that she always had in her car was a great piece of advice. This book will stay in my permanent library. Loved that a woman did such a fantastic undertaking and than wrote a book. Her remodel was beautiful. Her home made me want to sit and have a cup of coffee with her.

Thanks for the inspiration and confidence Victoria.
