Features: The design of the book is very user friendly. Information is easy to find. Each skill is clearly illustrated with black-and-white photos as well as text that is to the point. Special tidbits and troubleshooting/decisionmaking information is set in eye-catching colored blocks. Though text is limited to the essential information, the book is a thorough and complete guide.
Assessment: This book is an excellent tool for any healthcare provider who is initiating or managing IV therapy. The design is clear, complete, and easy to follow. Information to facilitate critical thinking and decision making is included along with procedural information. The book is appropriate for individual, healthcare facility, or library purchase.
