This fascinating book had me right from the beginning! In addition to being an interesting read, the illustrations and topics in the book are presented in a very understandable and logical manner. We all have "sticky" situations that pop up from time-to-time and the many examples Dr. Curtis provides, create a great reference guide to handle what we face in life everyday. While reading scenarios in the book, I found myself wondering what new perspective(s) Dr. Curtis would present/suggest in order to "Say it just right" (SIJR) the first time. This is not a book you can read once and then put it away. I guarantee that you will find examples that are applicable to you and where it is critical for you to apply the "Say it just right" approach. After reading the book, I have pulled it out to seek guidance for how I should handle uncomfortable discussions/situations. I used to think that some situations were almost hopeless. Now I know there are ways I can influence future "sticky" situations so that I can make the best of where I find myself. I believe this book is an invaluable life reference tool I will use again and again.
