This book contains an excellent array of principles from God's Word that, when applied, help a person avoid the pitfalls of debt and disobedience to God regarding mismanaged funds. We will all be held accountable for how we have used our resources, talents, and money. Did we use it for the glory of God? This extends beyond the tithe and missions giving, but being obedient to the Holy Spirit to save for the future like Joseph did during the times of plenty and to use wisdom to live within a person's income and differentiating between needs and wants (paying for wants without overextending yourself in credit card debt). This book is a common sense guide that will help you in many areas that are neglected by so many people. I highly recommend adding it to your library.

This is a good source for helping people who need some good foundational guidance on managing personal finances. It is especially helpful for young people who are becoming independent or who are considering marriage. Financial problems are often a major source of marital problems, and this publication gives sound advice which, if taken, will help many avoid these problems. I would recommend it to not only young people, but also to people who are experiencing financial difficulties in their lives and marriages.
