Meet the Author

Hayden Scott-Baron, better known as "Dock" to his fans, was always destined to create great artwork. Even before he got to high school he was selling his own comic. Back then, of course, his work was photocopied and sold for a quarter. Now he runs the flourishing manga house Sweatdrop Studios, giving his work a global reach.

Amazing! Exactly what I've always wanted!

This is the book for people who want to write comics, manga, or anime but can't draw!

Dock's artwork is presented on the accompanying CD. Use the included demo of Photoshop Elements to see his art in multiple layers, giving you hundreds of combinations of heads, bodies, arms, legs, and accessories. You can also edit the images, of course!

The only issue I had with it was that one of the sets of clips mentioned in the book was not on the CD.

    Don't buy it, PLEASE

I don't know what those other two reviewers did to get it to work, but it would not work for me. In 8th grade, me and just about every one of my friends bought this, and were dissapointed to find out that it did not work. AT ALL. Since we had opened them, and tried to use the disk, we would not have been able to take it back anyway, but we'd gotten it from the book fair, so that wouldn't have flown anyhow. We haven't gone to a book fair ever since. My father, who works with computers, fixes them, and even builds them, could not get it to work.
It's only coffee table-worthy as a coaster or foot rest.
