Overview

The problems never seem to cease for Cole Treyfair as he follows Jason’s clues to try and get his best friend back while continuing to protect Chezarei to avoid the end of the world.
With Airi advising him, changes in his psyche threatening to hurt those close to him, and an unexpected connection, Cole’s life is about to become even more complicated.

Cole's misadventures take him through the Polynesian pantheon, a fraternity that is a front for some unsavory netherworld types, a job offer, the Celtic fairy world, confrontations with werewolves, and a trip to Greenland that involves dealings with the Inuit pantheon.

Mania and the Executioner is a humorous contemporary fantasy with a bit of romance, and is the second book in The Gods’ Executioner Series by A.L. Bridges.

*Due to graphic violence, sexual content, and humor, this book is not recommended to those under the age of 16*

    Like the series

I am enjoying this series immensly however, the author has cautioned that these books should be read by people over the age of 14. I highly disagree! As an adult with 3 kids of my own, I strongly caution parents that some material within this series should NOT be read by anyone under 17 or 18. Personally I wouldn't want to have to explain what some of these sexual references are to teens/tweens, etc. That being said, as an adult I have really enjoyed this author & look forward to see how his career as an author takes off. It's enjoyable to read a series of books of this genre that is writen by a male & has the main character (with his point of view & humor) being male. Cole is an interesting & funny hero...

    As good as the first!

I usually hesitate to read a second book in a series because they usually aren't as good. This one was as good, if not even better! I love all of the different pantheons that are brought to life. I love Cole. I LOVE Tia! I just love this series. I will be rereading all of them over and over!
