Wow . . . hard to find book, great reframing known information into a workable explanation of what is happening.
Unconventional approach to a mental illness that may not be what we have been told. Kelly has taken responsibility for
his experience and is more convincing in his belief than the mental health system is in their diagnosis.

Another view of Bi-polar that walks a different path. Very well written by a man that takes what is already known and rearranges the information that allows me to understand both the dangers and the glory of this experience. Why has it taken me so long to find this book. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Anyone who has been searching for answers regarding the experience that is known as manic-depression this book offers tremendous insight. Written by a man who took on the challenge of finding answers to questions that the mental health field could not provide. Sorting out the confusion and misunderstanding of mania using available information he gives us a totally new view of what this experience is. Kelly provides a workable system for those of us that ever thought that manic-depression was not a mental disease. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Wow, I've been struggling with building my spiritual connection for along time and all my medications and 'diagnosis' not only set me back, but even dulled me so i felt cut off. Robert has shared his walk in such a way, that i not only understand where he's been, but much of what he's learned. He took on learning about he's 'illness' in much the same way it would seem he could have researched any other subject he's written about. Much of what he shared i already had an understanding of, BUT he presented everything in such an organized, logical format that i was helped greatly to understand about this phenomenia. Understand that i need not give up my zest for joy, my path to spiritual oneness within myself. Praise the universe for putting this information in my hands. it has given me back a larger hope, hope that i can continue focusing on my spiritual journey without going so far out of balance that i must again become a medicated zombie. i wonder why this book is out of print? i have attended some of the local manic-depressive association meeting and am interested in going back and asking around to see who else may have read this book. is this something the medical world does not want us to consider? if you have any interest in learning about manic-depression, this is the ONLY book i've found that addresses this very real possibility - CHECK IT OUT!Was this review helpful?
