ManKind: Spaceship Construction for Dummies
Martin was a typical single father of two, trying to provide a meager life for him and his teen daughters. While tinkering with an antenna concept, he made an amazing discovery: a device that negated gravity. He fine-tuned this device and even used it in a product, which he did pretty well with on the open market. As new technology often gets used for nefarious reasons, so did Martin's, on a grand scale. He fought to avoid turning to a life of seclusion by seeking an opportunity to use his creation for good. He saved a crippled water tower tank and brought it home, with intentions of turning into some aerial vessel. His project inevitably took to another direction, with his sights set on the stars. With the backing of prominent aerospace organizations, he was able to complete the construction of his spaceship. As sole crewmember, his launch was a bit rocky, but he started his voyage into deep space in good order, despite finding that time passed markedly slower in deep space.

About the Author

A multi-disciplined engineering major, himself, the author is an avid SyFy enthusiast and single father of three (daughters also). He pulled many of the book's details from his past, excluding any space travel of course, such as his Military service, family and coworker interaction, work ethic, humor, etc. His attention to detail for his literary works provides a realism to satisfy the most critical and/or analytical readers. The author’s own easygoing and casual demeanor is reflected in his main protagonist in an effort to personify his nature as someone a reader can connect with. I hope you will enjoy his first literary work.
