Overview

Laced with the controversial spirit that the politician is known for, Many Rivers to Cross chronicles his colourful journey as a Member of Parliament on the floor of Gordon House.

It reflects on the stridency of his advocacies for his constituency of Central Clarendon eloquently articulated in his speeches throughout the years. Professor Oswald Harding, Dean of Faculty of Law at the University of Technology, writes that the speeches recorded in the book are a pale reflection of Mike Henry.

Professor Harding notes, “Mike Henry is a visionary far ahead of his contemporaries. His detractors call him a dreamer but he has a vision…and this [book] is his legacy.”
