Michael R. Lockridge was born in Grants Pass, Oregon, in the great Pacific Northwest. He spent his early childhood in the Lakewood district of Los Angeles, not far from the Disneyland Resort. His later youth was lived in Ashland, Oregon, home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Now, after many careers (including twenty years as a correctional officer in Santa Cruz, California) Michael is writing fantasy adventure novels in Medford, Oregon. With the charm of Jacksonville, Oregon and the cultural opportunities of the Britt Festivals, plus the amazing beauty of Southern Oregon, inspiration for creative writing is abundant. Michael is confident that his works will find a wide audience and bring the joy of reading to many.
