Beautiful insight into the teachings about how Mary is so special to Chrisitians. Can act as a prayer-meditation guide as well as instructional.

The book is composed of numerous talks or parts of talks, feare larger that one page long some are presentations at visits the Holy Father gave around various sites that had Mary shrines or chapels. The pictures are magnificent. It can be a prayer and meditation book by itself. He speaks at various shrines, churches etc. that he visited and gave these talks from. His talks are like short sermons or little lessons of theology classes that give insight into the reality of Mary as the mother of God--Christ. This pope is a very Marian devoted soul that shines forth out in these passages. The teachings are beautiful and practical while being rooted in deep theological understanding. Only objection is the texts often don't link to the picture on its opposite page and you want to ask where is this how does it relate to the text or what text. But that is probably looking for way more than needed from this beautiful book.
