This biography is informative, detailed, and entertaining. If you are a fan of Marie Curie, you know that many books about her are very general often talking about her scientific discoveries and offering little background. This book gives much more information on her determined quest for an education, her devotion to her family, and her research. It offers detail enough to be used for research for a grade 'A' biographical report but in a way that is not boring.
