I found this book in England, and am very happy to find that it is available here in the US, even though you have to find it second hand. This is a most unusual book, about a teenager who volunteers in a hospital for orphaned infants, and falls in love with a five year old girl who has spent her whole life there, because she is disabled. This young woman ends up getting guardianship of the little one she loves, and who loves her. It is a warm and very human story that anyone who cares about severely disabled children should not miss! I've been collecting books about severely disabled children since the 1970's. This is a winner!
