This book really grasped my attention and told me the true story of how marilyn monroe came to be a big star. From her not-so-great childhood to her fame and fortune in movies. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoed monroe's movies. It was a delightful and inspiring reading.

This book has many, many pictures all with interesting captions. I would recommend it to anyone from the people who have read every book about her to the people who hardly have a clue about her. Its pictures are excellent and range from childhood pictures to a picture that is possibly the last photo taken of her alive.
