Meet the Author

Marion Eleanor Zimmer Bradley (June 3, 1930 – September 25, 1999) wrote fantasy novels such as The Mists of Avalon and the Darkover series. Many critics say she wrote from feminist perspective, others disagree. However, no one can deny that she was one of the great authors of classic sci-fi pulp. Both her son, David R. Bradley, and her brother, Paul Edwin Zimmer also published science fiction and fantasy that received noteworthy acclaim.

    She's got the right stuff!

Had read a short story or two by Marion Zimmer Bradley, but never one of her novellas. This collection of 3 of her works from the early 1960s really sparkled. I enjoyed them thoroughly. I was amazed at how the stories stood up in today's world. Amazing stuff from this woman who ranked highly among the sci-fi maestros.
