But things really get crazy for Mark when an angelic messenger for the Heavenly Host approaches him. The Case of the Heavenly Host - No disappointments in 3rd Book!

This third book in the Mark Julian vampire detective series delivered another knock out punch with its familiar characters plus some new ones. Who can't love the pure evil of bad angels nor the dynamic purity of God's angels like Rahael or Michael.

The power of good and evil battling it out on earth was given new life by Kyle Cicero! ..and I'm only talking about Vinnie Pasquale's mother and her Italian friend cornering the archbiship into pressuring him to bless the marriage of Vinnie and Mark! Those two could easily have done battle with the two evil and cruel angels created by Cicero!

This latest assignment is the most difficult of Mark's career and the repercussions shake Mark to the core. Now Mark and Vinnie face new challenges which will be dealt with in the next book in the series that has even more interesting characters. People have been hurt, murdered and there is still dark intrigue afoot.

Cicero's skill at fleshing out his vampire and werewolf characters and taking us from their own dark past into present day New York City engages the reader with each new and challenging assignment Mark Julian faces.

Many are angered. Many have the power. Many can be hurt. But who will triumph?

A wonderful series with no disappointments. There ever increasing cast of characters only add to the story.
