This series was overall good, but not great. Passion seemed to be seriously lacking when the lovers finally did end up together. Not that I was wanting graphic romance, these are Christian romance novels, but it just felt glossed over after so much build up. I much preferred Author Linda Windor's two medieval series to this series by Carol Umberger.

At first I didn't think that I would like the book. But once I had read through about the tenth page, I was hucked. I really enjoy the Med-Evil times and I love Scotland and the history there. So once I read through the third chapter I could not put the book down. I feel in love with the whole story of the two people, At the end when I and everyone else that may have been reading the book wanted them to get married. I REALLY enjoyed the ending. This is just a great book and love story.
