Editorial Reviews

Acquanetta Ferguson
" With that said, the level of eroticism is extremely high. The BDSM scenes are detailed and provide a great mental picture. Jake is definitely an Alpha male who loves his woman and will do anything to protect her. Bottom line, this is a good start to a series, which will hopefully flesh out what the Immortals are." 4 stars
Olivia .
"Marked by Emma Hillman was a hot, sensual story about sex, trust, and immortality. Ms. Hillman is able to beautifully balance the erotic sensuality found in Jake, the Immortal King who takes Faye as his mate with a sweet innocence that blossoms into full awareness in Faye. (...) From page one the chemistry between Jake and Faye burns practically off the page and it only got hotter the further along into the book I got. Ms. Hillman’s Marked was truly a delightful book to read." 5/5

Meet the Author

Emma Hillman never plans her stories. She just lets the characters have fun and hopes the ending will make sense. It usually does.

She lives in Paris with a husband, a toddler and two loud pets. She speaks several languages but only reads books in English because she says it sounds better. She’s been running her fiction web site for years and has made many friends and fans across the world, and is very thankful for their continued support and inspiration.

Between working full-time and taking care of her family and house, she can be found reading fiction, cooking or watching Playhouse Disney—don’t ask.

Love the genre but this book not so much

Sometimes I see bad reviews for books with erotica & you can tell it's only bad because they weren't expecting it so they think the book is just gross, but that's not the case here. I might like another the authors stories or series but not this one. The main male had too much going on with another female that was never really resolved. The main female even asks him if he loves the other female more and the answer wasn't really very definitive. Also the main female was really forced into a lot of stuff and I don't really mind a bit of the rougher stuff but she was like wow I don't really want to do that and then they would do it anyways. Not for me I guess.
