    Great read!

This was a great book, I couldn't put it down. Factual information and personal experience about the shooting at Columbine, then it went on to show how that experience, horrifying as it was, changed Miller's life for the better. A great "triumph of the spirit" book!

A wonderful reality check on faith

From the very beginning, the book captivated me. It provides personal experiences and links them to a growing faith. Crystal has done well showing how one can grow in faith even under tradgic situations. All we need is hope and trust in God. This is one of those books that you can reread a number of times, just to provide a 'faith' reality check. Thanks Crystal for a great book. God gave you a tremendous gift.

    Encouraging and Challenging

Not sure what to expect from this book, I was quickly enthrolled in the story and journey of this young lady. To go through such tragedy and still come out with some perspective and greatfulness seems very hard to do, but that is exactly what happened in this story. There are challenges as you read, challenges to make right decisions in hard circumstances. This was a very encouraging read and highly recommended to people that are going through the junk of life right now.

    An amazing journey of Hope

I thought the book was absolutely amazing! It captured me from the moment I started reading. It is an amazing journey of a young woman sharing her experience before, through and after the Columbine tragedy. I really related to every word. She portrays an uplifting message of hope. Her journey to understand God¿s plan and healing through each part of the book gives you a real since of her experiences and you feel like you are sharing them with her in a way. I didn¿t want the book to end. It is an encouragement that a person can take a tragedy in their life and use it for God¿s glory. I'd recommend it to everyone this book will defiantly make an impact in anyone's life.

    Turning Tragedy into Inspiration

Though not Christian myself, I found ¿Marked for Life¿ to be both moving and fascinating. The author offers an honest glimpse into her life both before and after the shootings at Columbine, which bravely avoids being self-serving. You get a real sense of the difficulty of dealing with an overwhelming tragedy, particularly at such a young age, and of how her growing understanding of her faith allowed her to turn adversity into inspiration. The writing is clear and expressive. If you have ever wondered how the remaining students at Columbine dealt with surviving, this is one person¿s painful but ultimately joyous answer. In addition to being interesting on a personal level, it gives a unique perspective on dealing with tragedy that is applicable even to the small tragedies in our lives. You¿ll probably cry more than once while reading this book, but once read, it will never leave you.

    Awesome journey

Wow! Crystal does an incredible job of taking us through her journey of faith, fear, and hope. It is so encouraging to see the good that came out of the Columbine tragedy, the author does a great job of relating that to the trials and tribulations that we all face in life. I strongly recommend picking up this book and to be encouraged by it!
