About the Author

Sharon Ely Pearson a retired Christian educator, editor, and author with 35-plus years of experience in Christian formation on the local, judicatory, and church-wide level. Known for her knowledge of published curricula across the church, she has written or edited numerous books. She is a graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary and a lifelong Episcopalian. She lives in Norwalk, Connecticut.


Bronwyn Clark Skov is the officer for youth ministries of the Episcopal Church and has been involved in youth ministries for over 20 years, coordinating the triennial Episcopal Youth Event, the General Convention Official Youth Presence, and other church-wide youth events. She lives in Hastings, Minnesota.

Katharine Jefferts Schori was the ninth bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Nevada and the former Presiding Bishop and Primate of the Episcopal Church of the United States. She lives in Nevada and is the author of A Wing and a Prayer: A Message of Faith and Hope and The Heartbeat of God: Finding the Sacred in the Middle of Everything.
