About the Author

Lorraine M. Harris is a native of Connellsville, Pennsylvania. She and her husband, Lamont retired from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to The Villages, Florida. They have two daughters.

Lorraine is an award winning author who conducts workshops for various Florida Writers Asociation Chapters, teaches courses at the Life Long Learning College and provides seminars at public libraries and schools. Lorraine guest speaks at book clubs, churches, and organizations.

She is a member of the Florida Writers Association, the Eastern Star, and the Red Hat Society. She also sponsors a small writers' group, The Write Corner.
