D. Lawrence-Young has written twenty-five crime and historical novels which have been published in the UK, USA and Israel. He loves researching and writing about history and the Elizabethan theatre which has led to him writing four novels about Shakespeare. He has been fascinated by Marlowe since he first read ‘Doctor Faustus’ many years ago. When not writing, he loves lecturing and travelling to the places which form the backgrounds to his novels.
