He was driven by vengeance…

Adopted but now alone, Kristy went in search of her natural family. When Armand Dutournier burst into her life, accusing her of betrayals she had not committed, Kristy could only wonder—did she have a perfect double? Could she possibly have a twin?

Normally I read anything by Darcy I can get my hands on but this story creeped me out several times while reading. Kristi decides to stop at the hotel her adopted parents honeymooned at purely by chance and meets a handsome stranger who seems to know her intimately...or does he. A case of mistaken identity leads the two star crossed lovers down a twisted path of deceit and betrayal before the truth and loves wins out. I don't think I ever got over the fact that Armand had fallen in love and had two kids and suddenly Kristi seems to have replaced her twin...with nobody really noticing. All of his feelings seemed to have fallen away as oh well I've mourned her so its no big deal. An interesting read but it won't be one of my favorites.
